This is an OEM Montigo fireplaces battery back up.  This replacement part ships from Montigo Fireplaces – it is not an after market copy.  This Montigo battery back up works on both natural gas and liquid propane fireplaces.

Part Description:  Some Montigo fireplaces – often labelled as ‘Basic’ in their installation manuals – only come with an on / off switch.   Out of the box, these fireplaces require hydro to turn on and off.  This back up battery extender allows the fireplace to operate in case of a hydro outage..
