The Rasmussen Chillbuster CoalFire Americana Ventless Gas Fireplace Heater is a complete set of vent free coals with a burner and basket that will accent your Victorian fireplace! The coals are made from a refractory cement with no harmful ceramic fibers. The burner is a state of the art lanced-port opposed louver burner that will heat your room efficiently.

The CoalFire Ventless Systems are set certified to two standards: ANSI Z21.11.2 (unvented room heaters) and ANSI Z21.60 (vented decorative appliance). These systems are designed for Victorian, coal burning or fireplaces which were not designed for burning wood, but have a flue. Generally the flue area is very small in comparison to the area of the opening, resulting in spillage of combustion products. These systems can be used if the chimney is old or the fireplace has a shallow depth (>12 inch).
